A man was on the loose Wednesday afternoon after he escaped custody from the Sheriff's office.

Sheriff's officials said  Jose Antonio Estrada, 22, broke from his handcuffs and escaped from the Montana patrol station around 7 p.m. Tuesday night.

Estrada, along with accomplices Luis Rodriguez and Ever Gurrola-Pantoja, were all suspects in the theft of truck tractors.

An arrest warrant was issued for Estrada on charges of vehicle theft, unauthorized use of a vehicle and escape. Rodriguez and Gurrola-Pantoja, who remained jailed, faced all but the escape charge.

I had a friend escape from there too; sadly to say it was made easy. I turned him in that same day but seriously, its ridiculous how easy it is to do it. Walmart and a hospital are a few yards away

So the guy breaks the handcuffs and then gets out of the building and is not seen or immediately caught. What is going on with whoever put the cuffs on this guy & why was the guy not supervised. How can a guy that is under arrest be given the opportunity to escape. Someone at a minimum needs to be given a refresher course on arrest procedures and if there are pryor incidents then more serious disciplinary meaures need to be taken from, probation, suspension and if needed termination.
