UPDATE:  11:14 a.m.  The Dona Ana County Sheriff's Office has announced an arrest in the Mesilla triple murder case. The suspect is identified as Eugene Gino Ferri.  He faces three counts of murder and more charges pending.  Investigators say they found the murder weapon in the toilet of the men's restroom at La Llorana Park in Las Cruces. Ferri is a local contractor, landlord and real estate developer.  Investigators say they cracked the case based on witness accounts.

LAS CRUCES - There may be a break in a Dona Ana County murder case.

The Dona Ana County Sheriff’s Department has called a news conference for 11 a.m. today to update media on what investigators call "an ongoing homicide case."

One of the area's most highly publicized unsolved homicides is the triple murder in Mesilla.

Peter Weith and Gilles and Helga DeLisle were gunned down in the couple's home one year ago.
