A new form of transportation will soon hit the streets of El Paso.
Today sun metro performed practice runs of the Brio Service. It's similar to light rail transit-- meaning its faster than traditional bus service. The Mesa corridor should open this summer.
Three other corridors on Alameda, Dyer and Montana are in the works.
Sun Metro says the practices runs are helping them finalize run times and identify possible detour routes if needed.
El Pasoans won't be able to board, but can get an up close look at the Brio tomorrow at 9 am at the Westside Regional Command Center.
