Using alcohol to assist with sleeping was found to not work so well.
A new study out of the London Sleep Center finds alcohol leads to a deeper sleep at first, but causes disrupted sleep later in the night.
It is also associated with snoring and poor breathing, which can take a toll on a person's health and their partner's ability to sleep!
The researchers combined data from several studies to get this result.
