Stressful Jobs Causing More Heart Attacks in Women
Women with stressful jobs are more likely to have heart attacks.
Researchers followed more than $20,000 professional women for 10 years.
They found women with the most job-related stress were nearly seventy percent more likely to suffer a heart attack and 40% more likely to have some sort of cardiovascular event.
Experts say a stressful job takes a toll on a woman's psychological health, which is closely related to her physical health.
