Stray dog round-up in East El Paso
El Paso County Sheriff's Office and the City of El Paso Animal Services Division teamed up for a stray or loose dog roundup in East El Paso.
The round-up began at 8am and ended at 1:00pm on Wednesday off the Montana Vista area.
As a result of the operation, a total of 29 dogs were impounded with 2 surrendered by owner and 22 citations were issued for no current rabies vaccination.
The operation was organized to reduce the number of stray or loose dogs in El Paso County.
A reminder to all citizens who own domesticated pets, have your pets vaccinated and help control the animal population by spaying or neutering your pets.
Anyone found in violation of the State Health & Safety Code will be cited and may result in their animal being impounded.
