SUNLAND PARK, NM - School administrators at the Gadsden Independent School District continue to be tight-lipped on why Riverside Elementary was on lockdown Monday afternoon.

The school was put on lockdown for about an hour and parents were never notified.

Some parents say they are still waiting to find out why their children had to be escorted out of school by police.
