Vinton, TX — Budget troubles will be the focus of a town hall meeting tonight in the village of Vinton.

State Rep. Dee Margo will hold the meeting from 6:30 - 8 pm at the West Valley Fire Department on 510 Vinton Road. All members of the public were welcome to attend the event.  

Vinton made history earlier this month when it became the first Texas municipality not to pass a budget by the start of the fiscal year.

Council members have been unable to reach a consensus.
