State photo exhibit to display impacts of ongoing drought
Austin, Texas (KTSM) — The state of Texas wants to see how you've been impacted by the ongoing drought. Several state agencies are teaming up, asking Texans to submit their best drought pictures to a Flickr group. The best photos will be displayed at the state capitol at the end of the month to illustrate the full impacts of the drought. Dozens of pictures have already been uploaded. they range from dried up ponds and fields, to dead fish and livestock.
Despite recent rains, 90 percent of the state remains in a drought. You don't have to have a Flickr account to upload photos. You can also do it via email or Twitter. For details, click the following link:
