EL PASO - Dozens of kids in Northeast El Paso will be heading back to school in style.

Operation Hope gave away backpacks loaded with school supplies and new shoes to hundreds of kids.

Sheriff Richard Wiles, Congressman Sylvestre Reyes and media personalities were there to help hand out the backpacks.

The event is held every year to help parents and students who may not be able to afford the cost of school supplies.
