The Stanton Street Bridge is back open this morning after the police bomb squad detonated what they call a suspicious object.

The bridge, and part of the Border Highway near it, were shut down as a precaution around 7:00 a.m. after officers found the object.

CBP says a bomb squad detonated it around 8:00 a.m. and the bridge is now safe.

There's no word on what that object was.
