Standoff Ends With Suspect's Arrest

The SWAT team is called out to a motel in Northeast El Paso after a man allegedly holds his mother hostage. It all started when Sheriff's deputies were attempting to serve a warrant on a man with three felony warrants.

When deputies arrived the man reportedly barricaded himself inside a motel room with his mother. Deputies say he had a kitchen knife with him.

The man's mother reportedly escaped from the room when her son went to the restroom. Eventually, the SWAT team entered the motel and tased the suspect before arresting him.
