EL PASO - A man was air lifted to El Paso after being stabbed in the chest.

The Doña Ana County Sheriff's Office says the stabbing happened around 4am Saturday morning just South of Las Cruces. Witnesses say it was during a fight with another man.

There's now word on the victim's condition.

Police haven't identified the suspect.
