EL PASO - A family disturbance leads to a stabbing in Central El Paso.

El Paso police have arrested 39-year-old Luis Andres Anchondo after a verbal argument with his common law wife lead to a stabbing.

According to police, Anchondo stabbed his wife, Brissa Salas, several times with a screw driver, causing her lung to collapse. As the wife was screaming for help, 75-year-old Genaro Salas went to assist her and was pushed to the ground and struck by a table leg. Anchondo then tried to destroy evidence of the assault.

Both Briss Salas and Anchondo were transported to the hospital. Anchondo will eventually be booked into the El Paso County Jail on aggravated assault, injury to elderly, and tampering with evidence charges.

get over it. dont any of you have jobs? you act surprised by the system. its quite hilarious.

I also noticed he isn't being charged with failing to register as a sex offender. This happened 1 block away from El Paso High School. He shouldn't be there.

why is there no charges for attempted murder. hitting an elderly man with anything should be attempted murder. along side stabbing somebody in the chest several times with a weapon. i dont understand.

The man stabbed the woman with a screw driver 6 or 7 times after accusing her of cheating on him. His name is Luis Anchondo who is a registered sex offender but not registered to that address.
