One catholic school held a memorial this morning as a tribute to all the shooting victims in Connecticut.

The faculty and student body at St. Pius Catholic School came together to honor all the victims.

They wanted to do something that symbolized how heartbroken they felt, so they designed little green wreaths that represent each student and adult that was shot and killed.

The green wreath is a symbol the season in their church which represents ever lasting life and the little white bow on the wreath symbolizes the innocence and purity of each child.

The principal also read a poem called "My First Christmas in Heaven."
