EL PASO — Sprockets retail, a children's clothing store opened its doors at the Outlet Shoppes at El Paso.

They were celebrating its grand opening with a few events this weekend like face painting for the kids and promotional discounts to the shoppers.

The new store, originally a part of Mervyns has been around since 1986. The store manager says El Paso is a great location for the store.

"With all the different demographics from El Paso and being military proud, I am a military wife myself, half of our staff is military wives so we like to give back to our military community by offering them a 10% discount with no restrictions," said Angelica Weber.

Sprockets, has one store in California and another in Arizona.
