Spelling Bee Continues Today

Some very busy bees are resuming their annual activity in South Central El Paso today.
letter by letter students from across the city competed in the 65th annual El Paso Times Spelling Bee.

Newschannel 9's Nick Miller is moderating the two day event at the Chamizal Theatre. We spoke to one 4th-grader, Joshua Choi, about how he prepared.
"I got words from a packet and I printed out some pictures on the internet.. and I studied those words," said Choi.

Close to 30 students will continue in the final round Tonight. The winner will go to the national competition in Washington, D.C.
