One group of special needs students at Riverside High held a graduation ceremony just before Memorial Day. These special needs students have been getting on-the-job training at a Goodwill retail store that is located on campus. Goodwill has teamed up with the district, to train future workers in a full store. Students are maintaining the store, using the cash register and learning customer service skills. Two students from the program already have been hired to work at Goodwill. The others will have a leg up for future jobs at Goodwill, by showing their certificate.
