Fort Bliss Soldiers with the 1st Armored Division Combat Aviation Brigade gave back to the El Paso community Monday, helping Bridges Academy relocate.

The soldiers moved boxes, chairs, desks, and many other items throughout the day.

Spc. Jeanita Pisachubbe said, "The Combat Aviation Brigade has been here since September 2011; that's when we activated. That's when we moved from Fort Hood down in Killeen, Texas.  We are proud to be a part of the El Paso community, proud and pleased to give back to the community that has welcomed us and given us so much."

The school's assistant director, Jesus Arreola, said that Bridges was located inside the First Christian School on Arizona Street for more than 20 years.

Bridges Academy specializes in educating children with dyslexia, attention deficits and Asperger’s Syndrome.
