SOCORRO - A follow up tonight on the story about a child who died after being left in a hot car.

Child Protective Services says a Socorro girl is still being kept away from her parents while they investigate the death of her 2-year old brother.

The Sheriff's Office says the two year old Socorro toddler died 12 days ago after his dad, 25-year old Emmanuel Armendariz, left him in a hot car.

No word yet if Armendariz will lose custody of the little girl.
