EL PASO, TX - A United Airlines plane aborted takeoff from the El Paso International Airport after crew members smelled smoke in the cockpit.

Firefighters were called to the airport around 9:30 this morning, but we're told no smoke was actually found.

The plane was headed to Chicago and had four crew members on board. We're told there were no passengers on the plane.

No one in the airport and no other flights were affected.
