A recall has been issued in 16 states for Skippy peanut butter, after bacteria was found in certain batches.

The recall includes two types of peanut butter: Skippy Reduced Fat Creamy Peanut Butter Spread and Skippy Reduced Fat Super Chunk Peanut Butter Spread. It's feared they may be contaminated with Salmonella.

The product was distributed in Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Iowa, Maine, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Wisconsin.

According to the company, there have been no sickness reports, related to the recall.
