Ski Apache is issuing a stern warning after two men are caught vandalizing a gondola car.

Officials said the men were caught defacing the car, and were arrested.

The ski area is warning visitors that anyone who damages the cars will be prosecuted and the resort will seek restitution for acts of vandalism, officials said.

Each gondola car costs about $40,000.
