Silver Fire threatens homes in New Mexico small town

Kingston, NM (KTSM) — New Mexico's latest wildfire is threatening homes in a nearby town.
A lightning strike sparked the Silver Fire, Friday, June 7th in the Gila National Forest. People who live in Kingston, New Mexico are asked to leave their homes.
The fire is burning about seven miles southwest of Kingston, New Mexico and two miles southeast of Highway 152.
An evacuation was ordered for Kingston and several nearby campgrounds are closed.
An evacuation center is set up in Hillsboro at the community center on Elenora street.
