UPDATE: 5:15 p.m.- Shohn Huckabee has been released from prison.

EL PASO - He's spent almost two years in a Juarez prison for allegedly carrying more than 100 pounds of marijuana, a crime he says he didn't commit.

Tonight, the family of Shohn Huckabee says he's a free man.

Huckabee says Mexican Military pulled him over while he was in Juarez and planted drugs in his truck while soldiers kidnapped him and tortured him for hours.

Huckabee's family tried to fight the Mexican Judicial system but had no luck.

A few months ago he was finally transferred into the U.S. to finish serving his time.

His family tells us he's expected to be released from La Tuna Federal Prison sometime tonight.

Funny how americans never commit crimes. Had it been the other way around would that person have had the same fate. Hope you straighten out Huckabee you got a new lease.

This is the most ridiculous thing I've heard in quite awhile. Why on earth didn't we set him free when he got out of the Juarez jail and was returned to us? How do WE know he is guilty? I seriously doubt that he is. Everybody knows how they set people up over there. Why do we allow our citizens to be treated like that?
