Sheriff's Task Force Takes Proactive Approach on Crime

The El Paso County Sheriff's Department created the Strike Force to tackle several major issues facing the county community.

Graffiti, Gangs, Burglary Suppression, Narcotic Activity, Bar checks, Fugitive Warrant Round Ups, Animal Control Issues, Environmental Crime, Sex Offender tracking and DWI enforcemnet are all on their radar.

One of the major issues deputies constantly deal with is illegal dumping.
