Sheriff's office investigating two bodies found in Westway home
El Paso, TX (KTSM) — Several questions remain after El Paso County Sheriff's deputies found two bodies inside of a house in Westway.
Yellow tape still hangs on the gate that blocked off part of the neighborhood that turned it into a crime scene Wednesday.
Sheriff's deputies say someone heard gunshots at the home on Banker Rd. near Tom Mays just before 8pm Thursday night.
A family member called 911 and when deputies got there, they found two bodies inside. NewsChannel 9 spoke to a neighbor down the street.
"I was very concerned at the same time I was scared and sad because of the tragedy that happened you know. My house is two houses down and I didn't hear anything. I hardly see them like once a while I would see like one of their sons park their car but pretty much that was it. I didn't know them," said Gabriela Salgado.
Another neighbor NewsChannel Nine talked to, that did not want to appear on camera, said the couple went to church often, had grandchildren and a young daughter of their own.We have not been able to confirm that with the sheriff's office.
NewsChannel Nine is also waiting to hear back more from the sheriff's office about the identity of the couple and if it was a murder or murder suicide.
