EL PASO - Black Friday marks the end of Thanksgivings, so what are you doing to make sure the holiday pounds don't creep up on you?
"Well I try to come in here on a regular basis, but last night's dinner was pretty heavy so I guess we should burn part of it off today," Marysol Terrazas said.
Food lovers hit the ground running at EP Fitness in East El Paso. Like Marysol Terrazas many of these gym goers gorged themselves on some tasty holiday food the night before. That's why today people lifted, crunched, and ran off the Thanksgiving Day calories.
"I can't keep away from pumpkin pie. I love pumpkin pie. That's my biggest weakness, so that and being around family seeing them eat a lot kind of put away my diet," Michael Ortega said.
Roca Fitness is another gym that was hopping today with people trying to keep off holiday pounds, and gym member's here agreed... if you are what you eat, you don't want to turn into lumpy mashed potatoes.
"The turkey and all that it's kind of fattening so if you're dedicated you're going to come and try to work it out. Meal or no meal, after the holidays it's a little harder to lose the calories," Albert Villegas said.
