EL PASO, TX — A number of arrests were made on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

El Paso Police, Sheriff's Deputies and DPS Troopers joined forces for what they call a successful DWI enforcement operation.

The results attributed to this operation are as follows:

11 DWI Arrests
3 DUI Minors
4 Possession of Marijuana Arrests
3 Criminal Warrant Arrests
1 Possession of Controlled Substance (cocaine)
1 Minor Consumption of Alcohol
42 Traffic citations

Fortunately, there were no reported traffic fatalities during this time period.
