EL PASO, TX — Fred R. Madrid Jr. was in the 101st Airborne Division of the U.S. Army.

He served in the Vietnam war in 1967, and was presented with the Army Commendation Medal and Bronze Star.

He passed away on August 24, 1987.  This year will mark the 25th anniversary of his passing.
