People just don't like to wait. People speed through our city because they woke up late (and you see them every morning). People need to realize that they are putting themselves in danger and others on the street; but they are not thinking, the only thing in their mind is that "Im late, get out of my way!". But this is not knew, just as Drinking and driving drivers always think that it will not happen to them is the "other peple" that don't know how to drive.

this is why the city should make transmountian a 4-lane the rest of the way down the mountian and not leav it a two-lane

Absolutely. The wide loads going up or down the west side of the mountain cause traffic jams and impatience emerges. Tragedy could have been avoided.
