Semi-truck crashes on I-10 near Vado
VADO, NM (KTSM) — New Mexico State Police were on the scene of a semi-truck wreck near Vado.
Police said the driver of the semi-truck swerved to avoid a car with flashing lights when he lost control and went into the center median on I-10 and exit 154 at about 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
The truck was laying on its side.
The refrigerated truck was carrying fruits and vegetables which they unloaded before towing away the truck.
The driver was not hurt.
Police did not close any lanes of I-10, but said they would be on the scene for several hours so they urged drivers to use caution in the area.
