El Paso – A 60-year-old man has become the year's second person to die from the West Nile virus in El Paso County.

The City of El Paso Department of Public Health reports the man lived in the 79924 zip code and was diagnosed with the illness in September.

So far 27 people have been reportedly infected with West Nile virus this year in El Paso.
