YISD: Riverside HS teacher under investigation for alleged inappropriate conduct
El Paso, TX (KTSM) — A Social Studies teacher at Riverside High School has been placed on administrative leave Tuesday, due to alleged inappropriate conduct with a student at the school.
The investigation was confirmed to NewsChannel 9 by YISD spokesperson Patricia Ayala who added "Due to the confidential nature of the case, this is all I can release at this time."
The investigation into the alleged misconduct comes after two unrelated cases at EPISD schools involving alleging inappropriate conduct or relationships between students and teachers.
Friday, EPPD arrested a former Bowie HS teacher for an alleged improper relationship with a student and EPPD is still investigating a case of alleged misconduct at Moye Elementary in northeast El Paso from early February.
