Authorities are trying to figure out how to reconnect a scenic highway that collapsed over the weekend in Northwestern Mexico.

The popular highway connects Ensenada and Tijuana.

Officials say, a 200 yard stretch of the highway sunk about 100 feet.

No one was injured, but a truck driver was trapped for hours.

Ensenada's mayor says, they're looking at ways to reroute traffic or build a hanging bridge to connect the two roads.

An earthquake hit the area earlier this month, but he says they haven't blame that for the collapse.
