Reward for Top 10 fugitive increased, may be in area

DPS: Fugitive has family ties to Fabens, West Texas
AUSTIN — The Texas Department of Public Safety has raised the reward for information leading to the capture of a Texas top 10 fugitive with family ties to Fabens.
According to DPS officials, the reward for 23-year-old Josue M. Reyna has increased to as much as $17,500 for information leading to his capture if the tip comes in during the month of November.
Officials say that Reyna is wanted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and retaliation. Family members tell DPS officials that they suspect he has ties to a Mexican drug cartel.
While Reyna's last known address was in Lubbock, he also has family ties to Fabens, Lubbock, Seminole, Brownfield, Austin, San Antonio and Eagle Pass. He may also be in Coahuila, Mexico.
Reyna is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall and was last known to weigh approximately 145 pounds.
Officials add that Reyna has "violent tendencies, has a violent criminal history and should be considered armed and dangerous."
DPS officials added the following information:
Anyone with information can provide anonymous tips in four different ways
- Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477).
- Text the letters DPS - followed by your tip - to 274637 (CRIMES) from your cell phone.
- Submit a web tip through the DPS website by selecting the fugitive you have information about, and then clicking on the link under their picture.
- Submit a Facebook tip by clicking the "SUBMIT A TIP" link (under the "About" section).
Texas Crime Stoppers reminds the public that all calls, texts, emails and Facebook tip messages are anonymous.
