Horizon - - - Seconds counted in an overnight restaurant fire.

The blaze broke out at Tres Gallego in Horizon early Thursday morning.

The restaurant had no fire alarm but a passing sheriff's deputy noticed smoke and called the fire department.

Fire crews arrived just in time to keep a burning pot from exploding and spreading the flames.

Damage was limited to the kitchen.
