Recount confirms Carl Robinson won the seat to represent northeast El Paso
The race for city council is now over in district four. Incumbent Carl Robinson will serve another term.
As News Channel Nine reported, District four candidate Sam Morgan demanded a recount after losing to incumbent Carl Robinson by just 22 votes in Saturday's run-off election. District four covers northeast El Paso.
The recount happened Friday. Robinson actually gained two more votes, winning the election by 24 votes.
