EL PASO - Recent gusty winds combined with dry weather have been a recipe for fire around the Borderland.

Freddy Martinez from the Red Cross El Paso says the Red Cross needs the community's help now more than ever.

The recent outbreak in fires has put stress on funds and the organization is concerned it won't have the resources to continue helping families.
