Keep doing what you're doing. That was the message from Texas Railroad Commissioner Michael Williams to area school districts today. The commissioner encouraged school leaders to continue their transition to propane school buses.
"This school bus is much cleaner than a traditional, conventional diesel school bus and it is cheaper," said Williams. "It is cheaper to operate and with the federal and state incentives, it is cheaper to purchase."
Dozens of propane school buses are already on the road in eight area school districts.
