EL PASO — A petition turned in from the group Quality of Life Voters for Democracy may put a brake on all the moving plans for City Hall.

The 2,000 signatures were going to be verified. The group says their petition protests violations of city policies when council approved the demolishing of existing city property through use of public monies.

The deadline to verify is September 21st.
