LAS CRUCES - A sorority from NMSU, in collaboration with the Cinderella Project, is asking for donations for the 2011 prom season.

Coordinators of the dress drive are hoping to get 150 dresses for students in Las Cruces, Hatch, and Chaparral, NM.

"This is just one way that we can give back to our community and help the young ladies in the area," said Ava Hodges, president of the graduate chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, in a statement.

You can donate a dress at 335 La Colonia in Las Cruces. There will also be a one-day collection site called the "Cinderella Shop" on March 26 from 10 to 3 at NMSU. Accessory donations are also appreciated.
