Program to Help Homeless Veterans

The Housing Authority of the City of El Paso (HACEP) has announced a new program designed to help get homeless veterans back on their feet. The Shelter Plus Care Veterans Lodge Program will provide $425,700 in rental assistance to homeless veterans. The program will help homeless veterans get into one of 15 available apartments, pay their rent and get counseling. Homeless veterans who wish to enroll in the HACEP program will need to be referred through the VA.
