EL PASO— El Paso County Sheriff's have arrested a wanted man whom was originally deported in 1995 on a previous charge.

EPCSO's Gang Unit received information from EPCSO deputies on David Navarette Portillo, 64, was staying at a residence in Socorro. Portillo was considered a “wanted deported felon,” and was in the area of the 10000 block of Stedham.

EPCSO's Gang Unit began surveying the location, and soon saw Portillo emerge from the residence.

Portillo was arrested for “motion to revoke probation” on a $0.00 bond.

Portillo was originally deported in 1995 for a “delivery of heroin” case.
