Presidential Election Shaping Up To Be Costly

The presidential election is on-track to be a costly one. Newly released numbers show President Obama and republican challenger Mitt Romney have received a total $1.7 billion in donations.
$2.4 billion was spend on the presidential race in 2008. At the current rate, this year's election is on track to be the most expensive in U.S. history.
