President Obama and the First Lady are in Senegal, South Africa. They were greeted by President Sall Thursday. The Obamas are set to meet with leaders from government, business and civil society.

A few objectives of the trip include reinforcing the United State's commitment to expanding economic growth, investment, and strengthening democratic institutions.

Thursday afternoon President Obama will tour the Maison des Esclave (slave house) Museum at Goree Island. Later in the evening, he'll attend an official dinner with President Macky Sall.
