The popular chain restaurant Twin Peaks, which has experienced great success at its location at the Fountains at Farah is opening a new West El Paso location. According to documents filed with the City of El Paso, the restaurant will be built at the site of the previously announced Tilted Kilt, 953 Sunland Park Dr.

Tilted Kilt, a competitor for Twin Peaks announced earlier this year that they would build their first El Paso restaurant on Sunland Park, about 800 feet of I-10, but last week the franchise announced that they were indefinitely backing out of the west El Paso location in favor of an east El Paso location, built at 1501 N. Zaragoza Rd. at the intersection of Pellicano Drive and Zaragoza.

Twin Peaks has not made a formal announcement regarding the Sunland Park location and at this time. There is no timeline for the completion of construction according to El Paso Development News. Grading and construction permits were filed with the City last month.

Twin Peaks opened its first El Paso location last year at the brand new Fountains at Farah on the East Side, which were one of the first tenants to do so at the center. The chain is headquartered in Dallas.

According to commercial real estate website LoopNet (www.loopnet.com), a Daddy O's Car Wash location is slated for the property immediately west of the future Twin Peaks location. Daddy O's has two locations in Las Cruces.
