Beck to appear at Abraham Chavez Theatre
El Paso, TX (KTSM) — Grammy-Award winning artist Beck has announced a El Paso tour date in El Paso on April 24 at the Abraham Chavez Theater. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 14th at noon at all Ticketmaster.com, the Plaza Theater Box Office or charge by phone at 1.800.745.3000. According to ticketmaster.com, all tickets will cost $47.08 including taxes and fees.
Beck is no stranger to the Borderland, he played at the Abraham Chavez Theatre in 2008 with indie rock band MGMT as the openers (MGMT will play Neon Desert Music Festival in May). Following his 2008 Abraham Chavez Theatre show, Beck moved the party to an intimate "secret" show at the Percolator in Downtown El Paso.
Beck became a breakout star with the release of Mellow Gold in 1994, with his hit "Loser." Throughout the years, he has evolved and become a trailblazer in the world of alternative and indie rock with his releases Odelay, Mutations, Midnite Vultures and Sea Change. His most recent release, Morning Phase was released on Capitol Records February 21, 2014.
