Rodent Droppings and Roaches Among Violations

On tonight's Kitchen Cops report you'll see a popular Chinese restaurant in West El Paso that has made our failing list before.

In April the restaurant failed inspection with a score of 59. In June it failed inspection with a score of 68. During last month's inspection the inspector found chicken that wasn't being kept hot enough. There were two roaches under the cabinets of the buffet steam table. The inspector found rodent droppings in a closet room. There was a dirty can opener and a few faucets were leaking.

Coming up tonight on NewsChannel 9 at 5, 6 and 10, find out what restaurant we're talking about. We'll also show you five more local restaurants that failed and passed city health inspection.

Atleast they are spreading the message of how bad food establishments are in this city.

I do wish they would post that health inspection website as well. Before i plan a dinner i look up all the options and see their track record before i dine anywhere now after i got a bacterial infection from a pizza joint. I won't name who but i will never order their oven roasted sub again.

Yeah, I agree with Anathema. It's pretty dumb to do that and really makes me think twice about reading anything that is linked to KTSM as "news".

Commercials aren't news, especially when I can find the information myself.
