Las Cruces Police are asking residents to keep an eye out for two suspicious men near an elementary school.

Police believe the men may have tried to entice a young girl heading home after school let out at University Hills Elementary.

Police said the girl spotted a small black four door car with the driver wearing a dark colored hoodie and the passenger in a blue shirt.

Police learned the driver used a cell phone and it seemed as though he took the girl's picture.

LCPD said he girl walked away and told her parents and they then notified the school of the incident.

The girl was not injured in anyway but was frightened.
